@_amaldc is a producer, DJ, and founder of the Hochi Runs label, pushing the sound of underground dance music forward from Washington, DC.

As one-third of Black Rave Culture, he blends techno, house, and club music into a sound that’s uniquely his own. His production work includes a Pitchfork-acclaimed project with DC rapper Wifigawd, scoring for global brand Asics, and Ohm Unit and James Bangura remixes. Amal continues gaining global momentum with BBC Radio airplay and recognition on DJ Mag’s Top Albums of 2022.
